I've been a member of the St. Anne's credit union for eight or so years now and in that time I've always had a hard time. Its never been an easy experience for me. When I moved away to college and then got a job outside of the area I decided to keep my hometown bank I'd had since high school. They have placed holds on my deposits and transfers without explanation and when I've called they just claim ignorance and remove the hold. This has happened about 5 or 6 times. Each time I call St. Anne's customer service I am treated poorly, as though I am inconveniencing the staff. The staff often seems not to know the simplest policies, regulations, and laws regarding banking and finance and I've had to explain things four and five times before I was able to get through. I feel that I am being a nuisance to the staff with all of their huffs and puffs. Overall I am not pleased with the way they seem to operate their institution.
